This web site was initially created to keep family and friends updated on Anna's progress.  We now keep it going in memory of Anna, our little angel.  We want to continue this site to share Anna's story and to give attention to Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), the disease she fought so bravely.  We also want to bring attention to bone marrow donation - no child nor adult should ever worry about finding their "perfect match." 

This is also the official web site of the Anna Memorial Golf Tournament held each August in memory of Anna.  All proceeds of this tournament goes to the Histiocytosis Association of America for research on HLH.

As Anna's parents, we've learned so much from our very courageous child.  We learned to live for the day, to appreciate what we have and not let the unimportant things in life get in the way of loving and living. We will live better lives and we will appreciate the small things in life because of Anna – we lovingly refer to these as "Anna's gifts."   As you read about Anna's story, we hope you will also receive one of Anna's gifts. You will tell your child, husband or loved one how much you care, you will not let the "small stuff" get in the way, you will call your local Red Cross and make an appointment to give blood or platelets, you will call to make an appointment to get added to the Bone Marrow Donor list.
